February 20-21 Dance Weekend with Jasmin Jahal of Chicago
Award-winning Jasmin Jahal, dance descendant of Ibrahim ‘Bobby’ Farrah and Mahmoud Reda, will have us going back to the basics and really knowing our stuff (techniques and modern choreography, along with taquseem moves). If you do restaurant work especially, this would be a must to attend. There are not too many people out there who can teach having come directly from Legends in dance! Don’t miss this former ballet expert, whose intricate dance moves are fun and bring you up another level in your ability.

Schedule of Weekend:
Saturday, Feb 20 - 10am Registrations, coffee time, browsing products 11am Workshop with Jasmin – building a choreography, techniques and exacting moves 1 pm Break for lunch, browsing and shopping, photo op time 2pm Resume workshop 4pm End of workshop day – ready for our dinner show with fashion show J 6pm Happy Hour….. 7pm Dinner, dessert (dancer pays own meals/drinks) and show (fashion show at break between dancers)
This is a casual dining event – sit back, enjoy yourselves and bring your zyls/zagaat/dumbek to participate in the music. There is a shisha room as well…. This restaurant is equipped J and they are just missing us! :D
Sunday, Feb 21 – late morning workshop with Jasmin, a 2 and ½ hour class of choreo combos! Finesse at its best!
